We use a private facility, and everyone who attends must be a member. Membership keeps our community safe and consensual: every member agrees to follow our Member Agreement and our principles of consent and respect.
Membership runs from January through December each year.
Becoming a Member
To join, you will need to:
- attend an orientation and facility tour at your first event (or if you haven’t attended an event in over two years)
- pay your dues (annual or daily)
- sign our membership documents
- be able to communicate in English to understand and negotiate informed consent and safety-related information with other members.
Because most staff and members communicate primarily in English, this requirement helps ensure that everyone can participate safely and respond effectively in urgent or high-risk situations.
Dues & Fees
- Annual membership — $30 per person, good for the calendar year (January - December).
- Evening party — $70 per couple or $40 per person.
- Swim party — $70 per couple or $40 per person.
- Single-party membership — $10 per person, if you would rather not join for the full year.
Dues must be paid in cash or with Zelle. We do not accept credit or debit cards, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal.
New Members
We need your full name, including middle name or initial, for membership records. All members can use whatever chosen name they wish during the parties. We added the RSVP link to the calendar page primarily to help new members get in touch with us for the first time.
Inactive Members
If a member hasn’t attended a party in two years or more, we ask that they attend the tour and orientation again. We occasionally update our behavioral guidelines and rules, the way that rooms are used, and how the facility requires we maintain it. This allows our members to familiarize themselves with these changes, ask questions of staff, and be successful at our parties.
If members have attended a party within two years, then they only need to pay their annual or daily dues to make their membership current.
Good Standing
Members in good standing follow our Member Agreement and our Pool Area Rules. Violating these rules may result in being asked to leave an event, and may also lead to suspension or revocation of your membership.
